The summer is coming and our favorite drinks as well. On that season the sun gives us his company all day long (or most of it) and must remember a few things.
Sun is good, but if you’ll stay too much time exposed, don’t forget your sunscreen, and use it not only on the face! In the hot weather we want to enjoy eating that ice cream, or drinking alcoholic drinks, which we are allowed, but with moderation.
Our body depends on water to function properly. Without liquid, the body does not regulate temperature, transport nutrients, and carry out digestion and breathing processes correctly. In addition, a dehydrated person may experience weakness, dizziness, headache and tiredness. It is recommended to consume 2 liters of water per day. In addition to water, natural fruit juice, natural iced tea and coconut water are also welcome.
Here we have a few suggestions for delicious and healthy summer drinks.
Preferer fruit juices like: Watermelon, Melon, pineapple, and Orange juice. They all have high levels of water in their composition, up to 70%. So you can consume them as a juice/ iced tea or even whole.
Sometimes when it’s too hot we lose a bit of our appetite, so we can make a vitamin that will refresh and nurture our body. Bananas and all berries go along very well with milk, or almond milk for example. Coconut water and lemonade are always a good choice, especially to go!
